In the heart of Mergellina, on the piano nobile, the principal floor of Palazzo Berlingieri, an elegant historic building overlooking the sea, Residenze Napolitane welcomes its guests to eight contemporary apartments.

The interiors, minimalist and bright, are defined by clean lines, natural tones and airy spaces. Rooms designed to give centre stage to the changing light and the landscape: the sea, the islands, the outline of Vomero Hill.

A home open to the city and its horizons, a starting point for discovering central Naples and reaching Sorrento, the Phlegraean Fields, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri and the other islands of the Gulf

Palazzo Berlingieri

Commissioned by the Berlingieri family, the palace bearing their name was built in the second half of the nineteenth century, during the years when the Naples seafront was taking on the appearance that still defines it today. Overlooking the sea, the palace forms part of that grand urban scene in which Naples “appears from the sea in the form of a most noble theatre”, as an author described it as early as the eighteenth century.
An elegant example of Neo-Renaissance architecture, the building rises over five floors and is characterised by its rusticated base, the continuous balcony on the principal floor, where the apartments of Residenze Napoletane are located, and interiors that retain period decorations.
